Accompaniments are recorded 'live' at the Central Coast Piano Studio, and with the use of state of the art technology, you are able to choose from an amazing range of keyboard instruments to suit your accompaniment needs. From the finest full size Steinway Concert Grand, to Forte-Pianos of the classical period, to Harpsichords of the Boroque. (See below)
Recordings can be saved in various formats such WAV, FLAC, or mp3 - and can even be sent to you via email!

How it works... in 3 easy steps!
Step 1.
Option A: You perform your work live in the studio as you are accompanied by a professional pianist.
Option B: You send a recording and piano score of your performance (or a link to youtube) via email, and a unique accompaniment is created based on your performance.
Step 2.
You can then select the Temperament (Default is A=440 Hz) and three tempos of your choice.
(Default is: Learning- 1/4 speed ; Warm-up- 3/4 speed; Performance- Original speed)
Step 3.
The resulting accompaniment is rendered with any of the following virtual instruments of your choosing and sent to you in an audio format such as mp3.

Grand Piano: Sébastien Erard
An extraordinary warm tone and coloured sound with a delicate una corda. The Erard Grand was much favoured by Franz Liszt
Grand Piano: Pleyel Grand Model F
Described as warm and sensual, this was Chopins favourite for composing and performing. It was used by other composers such as Debussy, Ravel and Stravinsky
Considered the greatest and most renowned in Vienna and throughout the empire. Beethoven was particularly fond of these.

Pianoforte: Johann Schantz ca 1790
Light in construction with thinner strings and much smaller hammers. Much liked by Haydn and Beethoven.
Pianoforte: Johann Evangelist Schmidt ca 1790
The so-called Haydn Grand Piano. The sound character reminds of the bright, overtone-rich sound of the cembalo and the clavichord.
Pianoforte: Donat Schoffstoss 1812
Features a delicate Viennese action which gives it a slightly gentler sound than the more sturdy English variants.
Pianoforte: Anton Walter (1752 - 1826)
A slightly more powerful instrument than its competitors. Often used by Mozart for concerts, and by Carl Czerny during his lessons with Beethoven.
Producing a very delicate sound. Perfect for the works of boroque masters such as Scarlatti, Bach and Handel.
